Reviews American Red Cross FRX3 Hand Turbine NOAA AM/FM Weather Alert Radio
I was really happy with the American Red Cross FRX3 Weather Alert Radio purchase! I tested the USB cable to charge
my cell phone, it works! Great to have in an emergency. The radio, FM,
AM, and the WB, all worked great! Clear and crisp, couldn't have it any
better.
The reception in my area for all 3 functions is excellent. It comes with
a retractable antenna which tucks away nicely when not in use. The flashlight is also great! On a pitch black night, I think it
would be just fine to use, not super bright, but plenty enough for an
emergency. The Eton ARCFRX3WXR American Red Cross FRX3 radio comes with a clock and alarm clock.
Worth Owning! Reviews Grundig Satellit 750 AM/FM Stereo/Shortwave/Aircraft Band Radio - Black (NGSAT750B)
Very good reception, sounds great. I made a very good choice in this Grundig Satellit 750 AM/FM Stereo/Shortwave/Aircraft Band Radio receiver. I don't understand the less than good reviews for this radio. I got
mine from Amaz** at a great sale price. The radio works just great. I
have owned many many sw radios in my life and this is right up at the
top. I have been listening to everything. AM, FM, SW BOTH AM AND SSB
AND C/W.
Very pleasing audio. After listening to this Grundig Satellit 750 AM/FM Stereo/Shortwave/Aircraft Band Radio for many-many hours while
working at my desktop computer, I can say without hesitation that it has
the most pleasing audio of any of my portable radios. I would call the
audio quality extremely pleasing for personal listening. I agree that
the GE Superadio and the Panasonic RF-2200 have great audio, but they
are both a little boomy compared to this Grundig.

Reviews Kaito Voyager Pro KA600 Digital Solar/Dynamo AM/FM/LW/SW & NOAA Weather Emergency Radio with Alert & RDS, Black
The digital version of these Kaito Voyager Pro KA600 radios is the way to go. I've had the
analog version for a while and liked it, but I wanted the precision of a
digital tuner. The ability to program stations is a bonus and I like
the ability to charge my cell phone from it.
This Kaito Voyager Pro KA600 Digital Solar/Dynamo AM/FM/LW/SW & NOAA Weather Emergency Radio was purchased primarily to be an emergency grid-down (power failure) or off-grid (camping) radio. The radio is loaded with features that will be very useful when faced with a grid-down or off-grid situation.
Great emergency radio! Reviews Midland XT511 GMRS Two-Way Emergency Crank Radio
I will soon get licensed just to be legal, but I actually bought this Midland XT511 GMRS Two-Way Emergency Crank Radio for emergencies. I don't think they would chunk you away or fine
you when a crisis is going on, a real crisis. But I have enjoyed
listening so much, it has peeked my interest in other gmrs radios and
might have found a new hobby.
I have been able to use this radio several times and enjoy the strong
sound the small speaker can produce. The signal strength comes through
very well.
I really like the radio. I have not tested for distance, but around the
block it works well. I use it to talk to the grandkids as they ride
their bikes.
Reviews Ambient Weather WR-111 Emergency Solar Hand Crank AM/FM/NOAA Digital Tuning Radio, Flashlight, Cell Phone Charger
The Ambient Weather WR-111 Emergency Solar Hand Crank AM/FM/NOAA Digital Tuning Radio unit itself is very straightforward and simple to understand and
use. If it has a weakness, it would be the batteries - even at our
advanced stage of civilization, batteries are one of the weak spots in
our technological progress.
This a great purchase, get two so put one in emergency supplies and have one in upstairs - works very good and easy to set up. Sound quality is very clear, interface cables and connectors work well
with most cell phones. the digital tuning is an excellent design, it
allows you to tune to the exact frequency. (very important in an
emergency situation), most of the other emergency radios use a
mechanical tuning which is less than adequate.
